In cleaning out my closet, with the intent of getting rid of the clothes I don't wear, I came across four pink shirts. I decided I am done wearing pink shirts for now. Maybe I'll keep the one that Lesli gave me in case of any pink shirt emergencies, but the rest are done for. Please take note that I am not swearing off pink forever, I am not denouncing it, nor am I saying that I don't like pink.

Well, instead of giving these pink shirts to the DI, I decided I could quickly remake them into clothing for my little girl. Snip, snip, snip, a few seams, a little elastic, and now The Funny Funny (as we like to call her) has a new outfit.

It is almost like she struck a pose, but it becomes obvious upon spending even a little time with this urchin that really she is getting ready to scream.

is the headband part of the pink shirt snipping?

oh if only we had pink shirts to snip my baby girl could be as cute as yours!
She is always so cute in little skirts and dresses. Are you trying your best to make sure she isn't a tom - boy?

The headband was just a quick strip of fabric to keep the crazy hair out of her eyes.

I think it is in her nature to be a tomboy, but I think tomboys can wear pink and even play with dolls on occasion.

Oh that is so non-traditional! What will tomboys be doing next, painting their fingernails?

I wish I learned to sew past that apron I made at your house when I was 10. I will be such a failure as "a sewing matching dresses for my girls" mother. But, then again, I don't plan on having girls anyway.
