Birthday Presents for Girls:

Barrettes seem to have become the standard present, coming from me, around here. So here are some that are going to kids in our neighborhood, who invited my son to their birthday parties. I think it's kinda funny how I'm making my son give them such girley things, but they are girls.

It's OK. The worst that could happen is every one might start calling him girly and leaving him threatening messages in lipstick on your front door, and beating him up on the way home from school. But, they'll probably just think it was a very kind gesture, which is what I think.

So cute, at least you don't take him to Walmart and try to get him to pick out a nice toy for the little girl and try to explain over and over that she doesn't want a GI Joe or a Hotwheels. Kids have a hard time thinking of a gift someone else would want, they can only think of things they want. If my kids could have it their way everyone would get a Bionicle for Birthdays and Christmas...oh wait everyone does get those.

How come brent doesn't give me presents? I mean your brent, my brent does give me presents. Man, this is confusing, did you realize this when you named your brent. The real question is did my brent's parents realize it when they name him.

Are you going to the reunion? Are you putting something in the auction? Because I pretty much told my dad he has to buy me whatever you bring.

It's a good thing Brent isn't old enough to realize that girly things are embarrassing.

We are going to the family reunion and I'm working on something, although I don't know if I will get it finished in time. We'll see.
