I just wanted to remind you all that you should be preparing for November. Get your art projects, craft projects, and other silly commitments finished up (or just to a point where you can put them aside for a month.) Yes, November is National Novel Writing Month, and yes, I do expect everyone to participate, no matter what. I will be writing my own novel of course, or at least starting one, as I have done in years past. I think the most I've ever written was 16 pages of nonsense. I always tend to give up after about a week because I just can't keep up my word count and life starts piling up. This year will be different, I'm sure, considering that my youngest is 18 months old and can practically take care of herself.

While you are getting your silly commitments finished up you should also stock up on top ramon and mac and cheese. Kids can make that themselves. Oh and get lots of crackers and cereal and milk...okay all set. You might have to occasionally stop for a snack yourself but real writers just starve the whole month!
I personally am going to rent the movie Stanger then Fiction and watch that instead of write a novel, sorry pam and good luck on your jouney!

Ya, I tried that once. Maybe I'll try continuing the book I started several years ago.

So, are you actually going to sign-up on the site? Or are you doing this as a rouge agent?

I think I want to try it this year too.

The baby has gone to nursery twice, the first time she was fine the whole time, the second time she broke down and I spent the last half hour in there with her.

I'm going to sign up on the site, of course, I'm following all the rules, unlike aluwicious who is going to cheat herself to victory by continuing a book she had previously started...oh the shame! :) (Did I just use an emoticon?...I hope I didn't, those things are so uncool.)

Yay NaNoWriMo! I'm actually going to a NaNoWriMo event this year, where I'll have uninterrupted time to write- so maybe I'll get some done. I know what I'm writing and everything, just have to find time to do it. GO PAM!! GO KIM!!

Pam by the way, I think its great you are replicating my son's blanket. It is so cool, you should share it with the world, for profit of course. I will always have the original and that is good enough for me.

It's only like 6 pages....in super big font.

I want some Mac&Cheese. I don't think they have that here in Zürich.
